I don't know the song you're talking about (ie Tupac), but there was a Changes song by Black Sabbath (1973?)

Nope, neither Ozzy or David Bowie. The lyrics resemble Tupacs version a lot, namely the verses "That's just the way it is. Things will never be the same. That's just the way it is." etc etc. I heard it on a smooth jazz radio station.
