I dont know if anyone here has heard of this....i know there are quite few people on the boards that are from the region where this takes place...but i stumbled this event watching OHMYTRACE.COM music videos....i am really really thinking of flying and going to this event...http://sensation.id-t.com/sensation2004/ there is site if you want to check it out. dj_stick...... have you ever used Milkdrop... (with winamp)...... now consider this..... you compare a few lazer lights with a few strobes.... then compare it to milkdrop running 1600x1200 on a very slick Computer Projector...... now then consider that you can refract that image to show up all over the room... although a single image on a 15 meter but 8 meter wall (45 foot x 24 foot wall) crystal clear and sharp... will usually stop people in there tracks and will go into a trance as they stare in awww.... seriously.. nothing like watching this stuff on a huge wall at a dance.. i've dj'd.... and djing with winamp and milkdrop is nothing short of Amazingly sweet

I must agree with you Judas as i have done this with two projectors trust i have never seen people so amazed...hell i was amazed myself....i havent done this with MilkDrop though...i have just used winamp vizzys and custom vizzys that i created. I havent tried to refract the image though....

man... sourcer.... it's soo extremely sweet.. i mean... i just don't understand why dj's haven't come across this... nice thing is.... you don't have to play a audio cd or some file.. you can use winamp to use line in and it'll convert it into the nessary sound output for winamp to start vis'es...... VERY sweet for some real djing..... (also really adds for people doing live music! ) i've actually had to bands ask me if it were possible... how much a system would cost to get the nessities ....how cheap.. how expensive it could get..... i qouted about 2-5K for cheap to midrange...... 10k for something they don't need lol.... Most of the money though is for the projector..... now getting a refractor... is a different story...
