Spider-Man 1 or 2?

I really liked both but I'll give the top spot to the second one. Better movie all around with a little less kiddie feel to it.

While the movies are not bad, I am unimpressed with several key factors. Firstly the choice of actors as already mentioned. When starting off something like this there is an excellent chance of finding a couple of less well known actors that could have fitted extremely well into the typecasted role. Instead the choices fell on safer bets, probably to assurance income. The X-Men stands in stark contrast with on overall excellent typecasting and not a bit less acting quality because of it. Then there are details as the web being genetic rather than a technical invention. Changes like that for no real reason whatever can only lead to irritation among fans. Altogether I'm put into a state of "oh, whatever" towards the continuation of the Spiderman movies. I will surely see them but with not much of beforehand anxiousness.

I wonder how much hollywood will screw up the Fantastic Four, but if it's true that Jessica Alba will play Invisible Woman then that's an indication. I just hope my favorite villain of all time, Dr Doom, won't come out as too wussy.

Well next villian is likely to be HobGoblin... and I think Tobey plays a good Peter Parker, he has that geek look to him. Hopefully they will keep Jameson's Son around for the Promethium X story line, (which holds Venom) and i think they made a reference to Brock in the movie already... not saying where tho.

The next villian will be Green Goblin again, but this time it's Harry instead of his father Norman.
The introduction of Jameson's son could hint of the Promethium X story line which was in Spiderman: The Animated Series. Although, that storyline is completely false compared to the comics it would be easier for the audience to swallow and not to mention easier for the writers since they don't have to do the whole "Secret Wars" explanation.

Doc Connors as the Lizard is a weak storyline in my opinion. Did he have both his arms in number 2? I'm not sure..

And yes, they did make a reference to Brock.

Felicia Harding AKA Black Cat is supposed to be one of spidey's flings and she appeared in the comics as well.

And in my opinion, if ANY actors decline to act in a sequel, even if it's aunt May, they shouldn't make anymore. Changing an actor would devastate the whole illusion of the movies.

Yeah, after seeing the movie for the third time, I relized Doctor Connors is in part two. Never relized that was him.

Spider man 2 takes the cake easily.. however... i'd rather take both movies as a single movie..... the storyline between the 2 are pretty well put together very easily.. time the 1st movie ended and the 2nd started... it was right on....... lol... Zardon,
