I Bought a RING!

Well guys the end of my single days are upon me, and I couldn't be happier.

Wednesday afternoon I went up to the jewlers and purchased a ring. Heather and I have been talking about it for awhile now and well I think you guys can all put two and two together.

I have talked to both my mother and father and we got both of their blessings.

I have not asked for her hand in marriage yet though, as what I plan on doing first is asking her father for her hand in marriage.

However, I plan on asking him for her hand in marriage when we are both able to meet because of my teaching and class schedule, and his work schedule. That means sometime in November at the earliest.

I just had to say something or I would burst so I say it here!

Ring (she picked it out but does not know I bought it yet

):

It is made with a marquise cut sapphire and diamonds set in white gold.

congrats mate! I'm a way of being able to go into that kind of comitment yet... although it does cross my mind from time to time.

I like the ring alot... very pretty!

may I ask how much it cost? I'm curious.... $5000-6000?

but i wish nothing but the best for you, and I must sau class A job on the ring...and ignore tasty, lol, price is a rather superficial thing to measure such events by (as long as it isn't electroplated plastic with CZ stones from Sam's Club....then it just means your a stingy mofo

Well I am asking her father for her hand in November.

December 15th or so we are heading down to Florida for a small vaction until the 23rd.

What I have planned:

1) Dinner at a very nice restaraunt.

2) Drive down to the Keys (about an hour from where we are staying).

3) Walk along the ocean shore (weather permitting).

4) Propose to her on a pier I know of down there as the sun sets.

Hopefully all goes well!

Here's the kicker, the ring only cost $230 including a 3 year warranty! They had a HUGE sale when I went to pick it up!
