Gmail invites thread

As this seems to be a popular thing, inviting people into Gmail, here is a thread to request an invite or notify us if you have some invites remaining
If you are requesting, you will need to PM someone who notifies us here with invites left containing a first name, last name and working email address

if you have been invited by someone please share your invites here on DH (this is by no means compulsory, you can invite who-ever you want, from DH or not)

yeah im wondering how you get invites. i have a gmail account but i dont see any place that saids like invite someone or something. Is it a random thing?

you'll see them when you've got them, takes a while from when you first get the account until they pop up.
seems like there's a surplus of them now...

Just a question I'm having a problem with the gmail invitations. I received my first batch of inviations and I sent them out to a few people. The first one to try the link got a page saying that the link was already used to activate an account. I tried sending 2 new ones and each time the same thing would come up. I even sent one to myself and it did it again. Just wondering if anyone has come across this before? I checked the gmail support page and there was nothing about it on there, so I submitted a support request.

Louiemaster, I'm not sure, but it could be based on how much you use your account. I didn't receive any invites at all when I first got it, then I eventually began using it a lot (receiving/sending many emails) and the invites started coming in. Might just be a coincidence though

ChoGGI how are you able to post the links like you have above. My only option is to enter someones name and email address to send them an invite, it'd be a lot easier to just post a link like you have.
