Surfing Rage3d

I was surfing Rage3d, and wondering what happened to all my posts, lol, when I searched for Roadee's threads. I came upon a few Gems among them, his responses to disgruntled former staff members, etc. and just some cheer I suppose. But it really brought it all back home about the quality and the metal of our team here on DH. When I go to other sites like Elite Bastards (to get insulted), or Rage3d (to get bored), or even other sites that former staff members now administer, I am always struck with the difference(s) between "us" and "them".
DH is heads above the rest, and regardless of corny you might think I am, a blessing of sorts. This really is a oasis for like minded and interesting people, and I and most of you have been fortunate to have known, I think of Roadee, and others that have come before and all the melodrama and excremental rhetoric between fueding members, and still it is wonderful here.

in a way i can agree with fallang. i am also a member of rage3d and the most i see is posts about "HL2 guess the date" or console gamers that constantly bash on PC gamers and games. with the usual "riddick is so much better than doom 3 graphics wise"

Rage3d is different...but thats another topic..lol.
People complain about power tripping mods, whining attention whores, etc.etc. and yet, here you can just chill, that's something. That is what makes DH so unique. People here enjoy a level of propriety higher than many other sites. thats something for sure.

I dont visit rage3D very much anymore, There always bickering bewtween the staff. The staff should be seting the example not making thing worse. Zardon told me on messenger he was going to start this forum, and i followed. me likes it here!!

cool, here and everywhere on DH, we find level headed and reasonable people (for the most part) lol. I found out you can get threatened for being banned for just joking on the off topic forum, wow, you could break a pencil off in that one..lol

sorry Chaos, was referring to his amazing recovery from his heart attack some time ago. He bounced right back from a doozy and he didnt miss a step..lol.

In my opinion rage3d has droped slightly in quality over the last few months

Now guys, this all started because my heart was warmed by an old thread by Roadee on Rage3d, he was responding to Zerodamage, and it just reminded me of him. I love DH and have no problems telling anyone, I made one post in Rage3d about checking out DH and started a knee jerk response from their staff, at least GI bro was civil and polite, that was pretty cool, but another staff member there threatened me with being banned because I wanted to know why I recieved such an aggressive response. I didnt lose my sense of humour but I think because of the sheer volumn of threads and the candor of the members there, they are more aggressive when they percieve problems....THANKGOD FOR DH!!! I can say with some expertise that I get a balanced and level headed and considerate response from just about any staff member here...
