agreed that the macrobrews (budweiser, miller, coors, etc) are piss in a bottle...but we have other options as well. its just that we are inundated with friggin commercials for those beers therefore no one knows any different.

samuel adams, ipswitch, and sierra nevada, just to name a few, are all made in the usa and will treat you well...

i will put it to you this way, in the words of william yeats, "the problem with some people is that when they aren't drunk, they're sober."

cheers.

Wow the whole room shaking? That my friend sounds like some whiskey I need to get a hold of. My worst memory of any liquor was while I lived in Germany one of my friends picked up a Swiss (I think) carmel liquor which I think was called ?Stroeh? I can take liquor pretty well but that stuff went to my head quick. We had just finished a bar run where you start at the beginning of street with several bars and race to each one. Last one in the bar buys the Stroeh. Down the drink and boom it's off to the next one. By the time we hit the seventh bar and our hearts were banging against our chest my buddy brings out the bottle of Stroeh he had and next thing I know I'm running from space aliens. Found myself on my front porch with newspapers under me where the little wife placed me the night before. Friends say I turned into a maniac, don't know for sure but it took about 24 hours to get over that one.

Yeah same difference Beer taste like crap anyway, I use to drink that 411 stuff(some nasty ass beer) & Old English which was decent. Man I'm glad I don't drink that crap anymore though. But I just like the taste from Boones, so I buy a few at a time.

Cabana or Negrita white rum and cola... and lots of ice of course. Could spend a week just sipping those. And Finnish beer of course. You guys don't know what you're missing if you've never tasted Karhu or Lapin Kulta on a warm summer day. I have spent a week drinking those on several occasions. Someone mentioned Stella Artois, not bad at all either. I like old scotch whiskey too...

Sorry but I really can't choose. You can't really compare beer and liquor. So Cabana/Negrita cola and Karhu are both my favourite .
