Stupid Eye Appointments!

I went to the eye docter today.

this is a new docter. He(like all of the fucking numbnuts) was like "DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU HAVE REALLY BAD VISION IN YOUR LEFT EYE?!" "No docter...I had no idea. maybe THAT explains why I cant read out of that eye!!!" fortunately this one was slightly smarter than my last eye docter and got the sarcasm. heh heh.

Anyway after lots of messing around with my eyes and sticking chemicals in them, we put our heads togeather and figured out why my contacts werent working properly for me. So I have been assured that my next pair wont slide off to the side when trying to read overheads in a dark room(i.e. lecture halls). YAY!!! Now I can figure out whats going on in my economics class! 1 week before finals

oh yeah and I was gunna get color contacts but my girlfriend objected. I decided it didnt matter that much...especially at how much she gushed about my "gorgeous eyes" heh heh heh. nice girl.

welcome to the world of sight...

i was thinking if i got contacts i would get them completely white so it would look like i have no pupils, probably freek out some people...

i wish i could get contacts.. glasses make my physical head larger then it needs to be.. i'm always raming it into things.... and as you guess.. i need another checkup

LMAO! you guys are funny. I haven't had an eye check up since i was like 7yrs. old. I need to get one done soon. If i got myself some contacts, i'd get a pair that made my corneas all white, and keep my pupils black

LOL... Just make sure your monitor isn't at 60hz... Or your eyes will get worse

lol mine was at 60hz for years. just with in hte last months ive gotten a comp that can break 60fps so i finaly decided to up it to 90hz.

naw my close vision was fine. it was my distance that was being a bitch. Funny thing though...when they dilated my eyes...I had to hold everything about 6 feet away from me to read it. heh.

I have 20/600 (or worse), 20/20 or better with glasses- my eyes are actually getting better now and now I need to go get a weaker script.
I wore contacts for about 4 years, but it was too hard fighting off all the girls so I went back to specs, lol.

Contacts are a PAIN IN THE @SS!!

Don't get laysik yet, wait 5 years. At least that's what my lawyer says. He hears the real horror stories, although my older bro had it done and loves it.

Yeah I think I'm like 20/860 in on eye (at least I was at one time)- and both have really bad astigmatism.. Completely healthy though, just my eyeballs are shaped like footballs, LOL.

With glasses 20/20 though, amazing what they can do. Haven't even been to eye doc in 5 years. Only reason have to go now is because I broke a bow and my polycarbonate/anti-glare/ lenses are starting to show small amount of etching from cleaning for so damn long..

A good pair of glasses cost me like 500 or more bucks.
I'm going to get laysik sometime I think, when the success rate gets a little better. I can't wait. been wearing glasses since I was 5 years old.

I used to wear glasses when i was younger, about 11, but then i decided that i was ugly enough without glasses so i stop using them...and guess what..it worked...

I've had bad eyes all me life..... my 60hz.monitor was on its way out...was getting pain in my eyes

. got me a nice Philips Pro 109P40 19" Flat Aperture Grille Monitor 85hz now.

the doc didnt say to buy it, it just feels better on my eyes..... i guess more the light the better

dude 20\100 is legally blind. somehow I doubt you are 20\860. are you sure you dont keep hitting a key there somewhere? 20\60 I could believe quite well. but they really cannot give you glasses for 20\860

they used to be really thick, but now I have really nice lenses that are small so it isn't noticeable at all. Which I like

I wore contacts for about 4 years, but it was too hard fighting off all the girls so I went back to specs, lol. Contacts are a PAIN IN THE @SS!! Don't get laysik yet, wait 5 years.
