that part i cant argue about. we ended up getting charged more to have it repaird then we expected. it shouldnt have matterd though, since the tank should have still be good and not started rotting out from the inside.

i think the brakes and the tank are the only things that have had any real money spent on them so far. i know the brakes are remanufactured with stainless steel inserts. dunno if ill keep those yet or get better. as it is, theyre strong as hell.

and then for the new gas tank, ill end up keeping that too.

if i were you, i'd be getting new everything. get everything done right the first time even if it's one piece at a time......but hey, that's just me.

I forgot- every Sunday night (EST) DH is dead for about 4 hours. I should remember that by now.. Z mentioned it in the feedback a few times. It keeps DH running smooth and quick I guess, so it is probably worth it.

heh, i think my sunbird is louder then my vette now. the pipe comeing out of the cat. converter snapped right off this afternoon on my way to work, so i ended up dragging the CC under my car for about an 1/8th of a mile into the driveway of the shop.

its all back up there in place now, held up with stainless steel welding rods, but its completly unmuffled now. thing is so damn loud that the popcan that was on the floor was rattleing from the exhaust.

heh ya i know they are. i ended up haveing a cop watch me for a few mins as i drove past him. atleast he left me alone. heopfully this weekend ill have a chance to get under the car and get some new pipes hooked up.

i dont mind loud cars, atleast with side pipes or rear exhaust, but when this is comeing from right under my seat i cant hear a damn thing.
