that's pretty screwed up when the official references drivers cause nothing but problems and issues.... and the ones microsoft provides via windows update for vista work amazingly well... even boosts signal strength it appears....
for a PCI Wireless Adapter....

Judas, have you any idea how 4x1GB Ballistix PC2-8500 would perform in a GA-P35-DS4? Any stability probs or anything you would care to share pls?

generally running quad sticks seriously reduces the overclocking abilities or stability.... specially the draw on voltage and power..
if you can get the same ratings out of 2x2 vs 4x1.... you'll always better off the 2x2.... ![]() course it'd probably be a fair bit more due to the densities...

Why did they bother putting 4 slots on these cotton pickin' boards man? I mean, what was the damned point if you can't use them without causing problems.

it's really unfortuneate of the circumstances around me being a mod on dh...
become mod, not more then a few months later, major life changing decisions are to be made, i then emediately lose any form of internet connection for serveral months, lack of time to post.... and further mental stress... while i think i could quite possibly manage to become a DH mod again at some point, i don't think i have the ability to make quick enough judgements on alot of things.... course my time spent on dh is slowly growing again.... and now that i'm technically "living" in my own house and not feeling like a freaking workaholic all the time (only internet access was at work, and it's utterly discomforting to be sitting at work for hours playing a few games, chatting it up.. ect. you'd think it would be all fine.. but trust me, it just DOESN'T feel like home and your always on edge, even @ 3am lol....

got my car a tune-up the other day. new tires, wheel alighnment, oil-change, NGK spark plugs, fuel filter change, and fuel additive for fuel injector cleaning.
that ran me ~$700 ![]() that still doesn't count the brakes, timing belt that still needs to be replaced. and not to mention that the tranny is starting to slip ![]() the joys of having an AT... |

timing belt: ~$400...most of this is actual labor cost.
brakes are going to be new pads and rotors all the way around: ~$400 (i want slotted rotors )tranny needs major repairs: ~$1,600 |

its so much cheaper when you just do it all your self. except the alignment... i cant exactly do that at home.

yea, but there's two things that i don't have that makes go back and pay for those services:
1. the necessary skills to do those tasks - while i can rotate my own tires, do my own oil changes, change my own brakes (both rotors and drums), change the pully belt(s), change an alternator, change a battery, i still lack the skills necessary to do more complex work like changing the timing belt and messing with the tranny. 2. time - despite me knowing some of these things and being able to save money, often times i don't have the time to perform some of these tasks. |

just thinking here...
200 for calipers 100 for pads 90 for a set of 4 good junkyard specials, mounted and balanced 35 bucks for oil and the filter 16 for the plugs 15 for the wires 45 for the fuel filters 5 for a can of carb cleaner 70 for a high pro timing chain 500 to rebuild the tranny in your bathtub over the weekend. total - 1076.00

pads (4) ~ $180 tires (4) ~ $90 + balancing, mounting, etc. - all new ![]() oil ~ $30 is about right spark plugs ~ $30/ea. x 6 - NGKs aren't cheap...damn JDM shit, lol. plug wires ~ N/A - car uses coils which are computer controlled....don't know how much those go for either. timing belt ~ $90 for the belt itself tranny ~ $500, possibly...but i have no TIME i <3 my Honda [/sarcasm]

my 8 wouldn't have this issue. 4 NGK plugs, an eccentric shaft, and 2 rotors is all i would need to keep my rotary going. no timing belt, manual tranny (a stage 3 clutch and short shifter would still have cost me less than my Honda's tranny rebuild/repair)
