Just stumbled on this guy's blog who reckons he knows the best possible methods for defending yourself on the street. He goes into hideously graphic detail about which areas of the body to strike, how to stamp properly to permanently cripple an opponent. ect. ect.

It's hideously graphic, i know that in a real fight nothing you've learned will work unless it's a proper down and dirty street fighting course you've taken. All being due to your adrenal gland going muy loco and if your body isn't prepared for the massive rush it'll just dump into your system (Hence the term Arenaline Dump or Adrenal Dump) you will literally freeze, But this is why i do parkour. Avoid and Escape, much smarter than fighting in the first place but it's not always an option i'm aware of that. Plus because i like to push the boundries and go big sometimes i've felt the adrenaline rush more times than i care to count, not always a good one either due to fear

For all you nay-sayers, Parkour might look ridiculous to you but look at this way, If i can smoothly run to a railing or wall, perform my technique and safely land the otherside while your tail has to slow down, climb up, get over somehow and land; I've just saved valuable seconds.
(Might even make a comparison video at some point)

My camera seems to keep growing this year....


crappy photo taken w/ phone

So I started off with a Canon EOS 350D (or Rebel XT for those of you in the Americas) several years ago, imported from Canada before the black model was available in AU
It came with an 18-55mm Lens as stock

This year I've added a Speedlite 430 EX II flash gun, a Jenis LCD Battery grip (two batteries meaning twice the shots, plus vertical shutter controls), a lens hood, flash bounce card (the white thing at the top) and a wired shutter remote control (not pictured)

When i was installing OSx86 on this machine i thought it just partitioned my secondary HDD, turns out it formatted the whole thing x_x
it looks so naked with 230gb + of free space lol.

hmm.. I've done a few years of Jiu-Jitsu but I can say that some of the tricks I learned there will still be applied in a street fight. No freezing happening at all.. I guess with no fighting experience what so ever it's a different story..

that very true, when you train (martial arts or something of sort ) it becomes second nature to someone, how even if you train and talk about where to hit etc, unless you have gained some sort of experience it does not apply, because instinct will drag you another way!

my second (games) HDD without my knowledge:
