so, as some of you know, i've been working two part-time jobs for the past 3 weeks or so. october 23rd will be the last day of that! .

i have put in my 2 week notice at the job i've been working at for a little over a year because my new job offered me to work for them full time. i like it there way better anyways. well...i like it there because of how much better i am treated by my boss than my boss of the place i'm leaving.

So, I was getting a 19" CRT monitor at a yard sale today..... The seller, just to prove his vast computer knowledge, told me...


"it doesn't have any dead pixels or anything"

On another note..... the County Auditor re-assesed the value of my house, Thanks to the housing market I've lost $11,000.00 dollars in value. If I had to sell it NOW, I'd lose $20,000.00....... In reality this means they raised my taxable value by $9,000.00 ..... creeps!

At least the didn't leave it where it was, my property taxes should go down... Unless they raise the rate ..... creeps!

if you rented an apartment, you wouldn't really need to worry about these sorts of taxes. but then, you wouldn't be a home owner either...

charging less taxes for the value of one's home means they increase taxes elsewhere. just look at my state of california, we've raised taxes just about everywhere! LOL....
