i was just looking through the win a 4870x2 contest thread. its kind of a joke so far. only 32 of the 64 post have over 20+ posts, and some guys spamming the thread like a regular idiot in a normal contest.

yeah well, lets just hope that it does actually go to someone genuinely deserving of it based on their contribution

and not their ability to spam all over the place (*cough CD's..)

I know the comps bring the site a lot of traffic, but just how many of those comp spammers actually stick around and make a proper contribution to the site in the long term??
I'm much liking the premise of this new competition though, hope somebody like mig wins it

an unsung hero type as it were

Yes , MIG does a lot of efforts regularly in the news forums , also Tipstaff does a nice job helping most people in Hardware issues , that's the most two I can think of.

All Staff members on DH are the judges for the comp you are talking about.. So that Excludes me from the comp...

we got shocking weather here tonight, and we just had some lightning and the fuse the lights are on has gone bang
and i don't know if i got a spare, or fuse wire, or any way to fix it at all.

we live in a 3 story house with steep stairs and 10 cats who like to weave between your feet constantly...

I have my favorite two to win this years XFactor..

And as both are under Simon.. For me its between Jamie or Danyl..

Both of them have made some great performances everytime they have came on..

These two twins can not sing and the dance routenes are so far out sync,i could do better..

End of 2010 The LHC will be shut down and work will begin on it to allow it to operate at 7 TeV per beam.

Looked up the LHC after a random motifake about it sparked curiosity

can get nasty out there though. just along the road from us a couple weeks back a farmer was checking on his cattle, and his huge tractor was washed away and he drowned in the cab

Somehow i seriously doubt you give a shit when your house is swimming in water lol. That's really bad man, reminds me of the floods down towards the midlands that were just trashing houses in entire towns.Luckily where i live i'm on a relatively steep hill so the water will just run down the hill and into the river at the bottom, There isn't a chance the banks will burst though it's almost a vertical drop from the houses at the bottom to the canal. And it's a biiiiiig drop
