The frame rate spikes make it completely unplayable, I can run along at 60fps no problem then bang, Down to 1 for like 5 minutes, then cycle repeats.
I've adjusted settings, Changed CPU Affinities, Everything, It's a problem with multi core optimisation (Wtf?) due to Activision pushing the game out too quickly, Unfortunately we'll still be waiting another fortnight for the fing patch to fix the damned things.

EDIT - Think i've more or less killed the FPS Spikes by lowering settings and turning off decals like bullet holes/shadows/hdr/ect. Basically tried to shift the strain from the CPU onto the GPU and seems to have helped a tad. Only problem now is - game looks suckage.

Well i spent 2 hours sweating my arse off in a Radio Studio yesterday, And i spent 4 hours sweating my arse off setting up lights and being forced to play a zombie in a TV Studio today... Being sat in makeup was fun though despite the fumes off the latex wound thing burning my eyes out

I'd guess that many girls' fathers have had the thought at one time or another...

I bought the new humble indie bundle, nice games, Braid, Osmos and Machinarium are quite good (Braid is absolutely brilliant!) and I'm yet to try the remaining two.

im going to do it the cheap way and use rattle cans. vht flameproof, it has a ceramic silica in it.

the local places want 500 to coat them, and sending them out some place is going to be an easy 200+ shipping.

Opera 11 is out. They added a couple of interesting features (such as tab stacking), though nothing spectacular. Also, they added support for extensions. As opposed to Widgets, which generally tend to do anything (old Russian hand held videogame simulators, anyone?) as long as it's not browsing related, extensions are more similar to those made for Firefox in their uses.

Rather sorry state of affairs here, There's talk from the doctor of putting me on Lithium in an attempt to try stop the cluster headaches I've been diagnosed with. Now usually that wouldn't have been such a bad thing to be told until I was informed that not only am I stuck with these headaches for life, but if I end up being put on Lithium I'll be on that for life as well.

Some people just randomly get cluster headaches infrequently but if you're unfortune like me they're triggered by stress, after I left my gf about 2 months ago I had a headache so bad I was physically incapacitated by it, I couldn't actually move and I could hardly see for the searing agony tearing it's way through my skull.

Don't get me wrong these headaches fing suck but I've seen what Lithium does to people, it's like the light leaves their eyes and their thoughts just trail off, and I'm not letting that happen to me. But that's left me with another dilemma - Mood Swings, they're getting more extreme every day and I'm scared I'll get violent in a flash of anger and hurt someone.

Urk. FML.

I think I know what you're talking about, two of my friends had headaches that would come at night that were so severe they'd keep the house up till morning. In one of the cases, I'm pretty sure they were triggered by a mega-bitch of a girlfriend my friend had, in the other, the shrink said the it was the piled up stress and lack of sleep throughout high school and uni. Although, the second guy also suffered from a sort of "seizures" where he would get paralyzed (literally unable to move) when he was outside the house, especially on a bus (the other guy actually had that problem too, but in a much milder form). He was put on neuro stabilizers for a while (because his condition involved other problems) and it was a bitch because they made him unable to concentrate, but both guys made it through.

Go see someone about your mood swings and don't give up on yourself!

Friday sucks. I'm broke already. Bought a Roland Juno Di for the kid, from Santa, an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S for the wife, and a set of studded Michelin snow tires for the car. If I buy anything else this month I'll have to use plastic.

Yes I know... but I have an exam on monday lol... which is like 2 days away according to my time... lol.. and I so want to go... Gotta keep the CGPA up you see... cant let it fall below 3.0 ...

P.S. Ivan V does it also mean that the first one to get the girl is also the first one the girl leaves?
