wow some nasty stuff here... And hilarious stuff

I had a weird story... I had JUST got a PC (last year) and back then, I was a total newb in PC stuff (still am but getting better) Well all of a sudden, my 3D card (a 9800 Pro) was overheating. I didn't know but after I turned off the PC and turned it back on, it was fine... Kept this up for quite a while (the sound card was next to the 3d Card and I had NO case fans... Thank you dell!) but suddenly, a sharp sound (eletric fuse or sumthing) and my 3D card just shows HUGE pixels in green red.... OMG I call dell and all and in the end, they guess my 3D card is busted... And the WHOLE heatsink (which was NOT in aluminium... Some blackish plasticy thing

) had melted into my card.... OMG I was shocked lol.

With a CD drive, I once left a cd in and put another game in and the drive started to spin em both... And the got stuck in the drive!!! The drive survived in the end but I almost lost the CDs (well out of the 2... 1 died

) and that was really annoying.

A think which happened a few hours ago, I oppnened to see what my PSU is like inside and guess what, one of the 2 fans died and now my PSU overheats like hell!!! OMG I have to mod a 12cm fan into the PSU lol

My stories suck but ya, that's what I've head...

Not too long ago, I was playing Thief 2, and my comp started to overheat. I was like, "WTF

, how could a game this old stress my system?"

I save and power the comp off and decide to pop the case open, to be sure nothing drastic happened. Once I did that I shined my flashlight in (just like the horror movies, no?

) and saw a huge ass spider web all dusty and SUCKED into the cpu fan! I was like, "oh s--t" as I had just read a story about a person finding a live spider nest (and the hundreds of babies) inside of his case. I broke out the DirtDevil and the Dust Off (also a piece of paper and a cup, to be safe, y' know) so fast you wouldn't believe. I took hours cleaning it out, but no spider, had gotten away not too long before this whole thing (I had cleaned out my case about 2 weeks before), but that web had gotten everywhere. Sat with my legs crossed for days.
