...that I'm totally useless at wrapping Christmas presents?

I can modify computers, game consoles, cars and lots of other things but something as simple as wrapping a gift (like a book for example) takes me half an hour and I usually end up with something that looks like its been dragged for half a mile down the street.

Why is this?

last year, my daughters and I a gave my fiance a gift. She took it and said "Kori (my 4 year old daughter), did you wrap this?"
I put my head down and replied, "No, I did".

this year I bought a damn bag to put her gifts in!

i cant wrap gifts at all.... i try but it always looks like crap.

the last couple of years ive had either my mom or sister wrap everything. my name just gets put on random gifts being given out to people....

take some classes or something .... I'd sugest some drafting
maybe some oragomi or something sumlar would help you
delope some skillz....

Funny you should mention origami - that was something I took after school classes in for a few months when I was a kid.

Must be that I've now developed fat fingers and cant fold anymore

I suppose its only a couple of times a year so I can live with it.

we cannot wrap gifts since we do not have time to do such tedious things that waste time

our job is to cuss, buy electronics, have a few drinks, party up, get the job done (and JUST the job), and often tell the woman "no i'm not eating at home, i don't care if you made food"

women have time to fiddle with ribbons and shoestrings and like it, we have time to fiddle with wires, tools and hot bitches
