Good pic hosting company
I am after a pic hosting company that will show a mini preview or thumbnail of the pic before clicking on it to show the final pic...
I use photobucket and wish to move somewere else. I also want to use this storage for places other than DH>

Actually Warpy, Photobucket auto creates thumbnails for the Album view of their site. If you check the properties of the picture you will find that all uploaded photos get thumbnailed, and get the beginning of the file renamed to 'th_' . It would get complicated to explain PHP, but here is the simpliest way to get this to work.
Copy the 3rd link they give you for the photo, and paste it here. It should start with after the link. Rename the target file, say whatever.jpg to th_whatever.jpg . Next, the tricky part. In the 'reply to thread' box just above where you type your message you will see a plus (+) sign ontop of a chain link. What you do is highlight the link you just pasted, and hit that +chainlink button. What you will be doing is linking the highlighted text, or what's called HREF (HTTP Referencing), to a certain destination. In this case you will paste the link for the 'bigger' picture (the 1rst link they give you) into the box that pops up. Hit 'OK', and you will notice the highlighted text will turn blue. Congrats! You have now dropped a thumbnail pic, and referenced a larger pic to be opened when clicked on! If everything works out fine it will work like the pic below. ![]() - Tip |

Imageshack also does automatic thumbnailing and you can create photo albums and you don't have to give any personal information. Imageshack thumbnails also quote the original filesize and file dimensions which is some useful knowledge to know before you click on the thumbnail.

As prodigal pointed out, Imageshack has no space restriction, but they do require that: 1) files are less than 1024kb (why don't they just say 1mb?!?) in size, and 2) the file/image content doesn't break the Terms of Service Agreement. Of note, in the TOSA it states that you cannot post anything explict (sexual or otherwise), or be illegal in any state.
So, in effect, 90% of my pictures would be ripped off their site faster than you can say..... anything! ![]() Edit: As for the pic I linked.. tell you the truth, I have no real idea. I can't remember if it came off of some clothing site, a 'babe' download, or if it's Eliza Dushku ('cept the beauty mark is missing on her upper left cheek.. 'course.. the pic could be reversed).
