Yeah, I also saw this just now, real happy for the dude. A+ can really be helpful to ya no matter how many other qualifications you may have, it sometimes is all you need to give you the "edge" over other aspiring workers too.

N+ is short for CompTIA Network+ certification, i think.
if so, here's about the Network+ certification...

alot of people i know say that being N+ certified is more important than being A+ certified. But i don't know how true that is seeing that out of all of them people i know that say that, only one of them is N+ certified

your're in no rush to get the Network+ certification now, because you don't want to, i think.
you'll soon know if you like to have it or not...

well i'd like to have everything i can get... i'm one that wants to know everything. have my hands in everything... be able to do anything at anytime i want.

if you want to or have to become MS certified, whatever you're going to get, but, won't be so far distant in time you would want to have the MCT-- Microsoft Certified Trainer, i think. you would also need to have good communication skills, like to talk and to share what you knew about computing with people. and that would take you to the top or very close to.

add the Network+ to yourself if/when you can, JD.
you would want to set yourself apart from others with these added value. for sure.

i'm in an A+ certification class right now. the book gets me 90 bucks off each test, so that'll be nice. i'll hopefully take the tests this spring, and if i pass i hope to get on the geek squad or hired at a local pc place.

in fact, i'm thinking about putting an ad in the paper for in-home pc repair.
