Thumbs Up! whats your favorite shiping company?

well what is it. I personal use fedex for my business and personal shipments. UPS screwed me over hard a few times. Fedex has been awesome for me.

OOOOO they really suck for international shipments. Fedex rocks! Zardon can agree with me on that one

UPS usually takes forever for me...althought that just depends on your service and usually when I get something shipped it comes 1 day later than i was originally quoted...they don't seem to stand behind the date given.

arrow That's a tough question.

I always say it's FedEx since my sister & her hubby work for 'em, but I like UPS & the post office a lot better. The post office is by far the cheapest/easiest for me, and the UPS in my area is just second to none.

Plus the UPS driver knows me pretty well now and gave me permission to hunt him down and pull him over if'n I'm expecting a package and getting squirrly waiting. When my PIII800 came in finally for Bubbles (when I first built here) it was the last piece to arrive and I was driving around for an hour and a half hunting down that damn brown truck.

My "city" is a very much residential town & it was fun to cruise around hunting the brown truck. Me and my son had a ball.

(You find STRANGE ways to entertain yourself/pass the time when you got kids 24/7. )

Both FEDEX and USPS are good carriers. I haven't had any experience with UPS.

It depends on how you define "full time job". The last time I actually got PAID for my labors was in 99, I've been doing the "Mom-thing" since and it's a hell of a lot harder!

But technically, I think me answer would have to be "no"...although I don't agree with the technical definition after 3 years of this sh&t.

I wish it was that easy, I just can't bring myself to let the idiot box watch me kids for me. (Not that I'm averse to using it for a quick web-break now and again. )

My son is a big PS1 nut & getting a PS2 this x-mas. He's also the ridiculously proud owner of Boomer (see sig) and is quickly becoming rather adept at PC games. (And my daughter has finally figured out how to work the mouse! )

FedEx sucks hairy goat balls

Let's see...

2 day delivery dropped off on Friday doesn't get delivered til following Wednesday (no holidays).

Driver never bothers to come to my front door, always have to chase packages down or go to apartment leasing office - even when I've been here all day waiting for the package.

Driver bothers to come to door and leaves insured sig-required package with over $1000 worth of stuff just sitting in plain view on porch.

Driver claims to deliver package, package signed by "FRONTDOOR". Package nowhere to be found. Requires almost 11 straight hours of emails, phone calls, and finally threats of criminal prosecution to locate driver and force him to actually deliver package. Package arrives without any waybill paperwork.

Packages arrived with parts partially crushed.

Waybills indicating multiple boxes come as a single box. Other boxes are missing for days.

Tracing lost packages requires multiple days in most cases.

Credit takes 60-90 days.

Insurance claims are 120 days.

In short:

Federal Excuse is like a bunch of hopped-up monkeys on Viagra trying desperately to fuck a football.
