Would you like to see games being ported/developed for linux???

After posting in the ATI Linux Driver forum I was thinking. Both Nvidia and ATI have drivers that are working pretty well in linux.

What is it exactly that is keeping the developers from creating/porting games to linux? Games are already ported to mac and as I stated before. Half of the work is done since OSX is based on BSD.

I am basically looking for some feedback. I know that there are a lot of people that are very knowledgeable in this area.

Is the amount of effort required to port the game not worth it?

What is involved in this process?

What will it take to convince game developers that linux is a viable solution that can make them more profits?

Don't know when this is gonna happen, but I think it'll happen eventually, and yeah, that'd be cool.
