Just what in the heck do those envelopes by the thread titles in the forums MEAN?

I've wondered about it on and off at odd moments for years now...me just never thunked of just asking about it before.

I spellunk!
I still remember the time I was 13 and went spellunking with me brother, father, & about 22 other people from Boy Scouts. Our 7 man group led by my father got lost for 16 hours on a 2 hour planned crawl thru Buckner's Cave down in southern Indiana. Crazy memories.
