My Son is finally here!!
Have not been here in a while because my wife was going through some tough times in the end of her pregnancy. Today though I am happy to say that my son Daniel was born on 12 May 2005 @ 07:57. He came out to a rough start, had sucked in some of the amniotic fluid and suffered from a condition known as wet lungs. He was under an oxygen hood for about 2 days, and we could not hold or feed him. The docs started to slowly reduce the oxygen over the past 24 hours, and he did so well last night they removed the oxygen all together. If all goes well mom and son will be home Monday or Tuesday. This makes the 4th and final child for us, going to have to buy a grocery store to keep them all fed as it is
 . Can not believe the other 3 kids were arguing over who was going to take care of him first when he got home  , I will not stop that fight though. Got to go see him and the little wife, you guys take it easy.

A son or daughter is a precious gift from God, I hope the Lord will tarry and you enjoy being a father, as for me, my 18 year old son just parked his Blazer in the back of Dodge Caravan and totaled both vehicles, I just spent all night and this morning in the Emergency room while they bandaged him up and put a brace on his shoulder and left arm, I guess he will lose his license for good this time. I am grateful he is alive as he was travelling 55 miles an hour when he hit the curb and launched it into a flying crash into a parked car, I know damn well he was drinking but the police spoke to me instead and let him go. I wouldnt trade the oppurtunity to help my son in his time of need, you will see, it defines us as parents to be there for our children and give until we cannot give anymore and give again. We are in service to our children and service to our fellow man. One day as a parent, when we all must leave this earth and return the very dust we emerged from, it is fitting that parents are remembered for what they gave, and not what they took. I honor you and all fathers by saying that the greatest gift you can give your children is your love and your patience and your respect, they deserve and will test you all the time. Good time and bad times man, it is all worth it. I would die for my children if I thought it would save them from this cruel world, but I know it is up to all of us that give to be a beacon in the darkness and a rock in the storm, they will cling to us and they will follow us until they can stand on their own two feet, and one day, when you and I are old, perhaps they will spend a few moments with us in the garden, or walk us around the park, or honor us with a visit from our own grandchildren. Enjoy fatherhood and may you be blessed with more children, there is honor in fatherhood, keep the faith and dont lose your cool and dont give up, the rewards will come later..

DUDE THATS FREAKIN AWESOME! My parents had 4 kids (I was number 4 and also had a rough start) and its been great. I couldnt imagine having a smaller family. I think I'll probably have 3 or 4 myself :-D that is if my future wife is cool with it.

Congrats man, I keep telling my Fiancee we need kids but she aint so keen at the moment, I can't wait to be a father.
PS dont forget to benchmark him and post his spec. Got any upgrades planned cos im sure he'll provide his own water-cooling (don't try to plug up the leaks though in this case). Once again congrats and thanks for letting us know, I love good news
