I think he's getting a little too old and cranky, LOL... it is a definite generation gap. If I hear a loud stereo that sounds GOOD, and it is in the middle of the day, I don't mind, let the guy listen to his tunes.

If I hear a loud CRAPPY SOUNDING car stereo I just laugh, because the chuckle head behind the wheel is too stupid to get his rig sounding right.


If I hear a loud car stereo at night, around a lot of houses, I think the guy is a moron... he should have a little respect for people trying to sleep.

I don't look at loud car stereos any differently than I do at a loud HARLEY which is MUCH louder... and more annoying..

Jeff, is that the way you feel about a loud Harley too? Are all those guys moron that need to go back to school? It isn't just kids who enjoy a nice sounding car stereo, and if people can hear it outside their car, who cares? it's a free country man.. get with the times.

i work and i used to have a really loud stero (got a decent one now). And people that buy large steros do work, how else do you think they can afford them? they are definatly not cheep!!!! If i drove next to you jeff id be sure to crank the stero up just to piss you "high class" people off!

Oh, well that's just being a dick- If I am in a crowded intersection stopped, right next to people- I turn it down a little... there's no reason to be a jerk for no reason.

I dont care what other people think. I get weird looks all the time when im in traffic. I just look at them, adjust the sunglasses, grab the remote (yes i use a remote control for my car stero ) and max it out... then laugh as they roll up their windows Yesterday 11:23 PManother-userim another one that hates the overly loud stereo's. i dont want to be sitting in my car with the windows up, and haveing to turn up my raidio so i can actually hear my music over some asshole sitting 3 cars behind me. or when i can hear them in my house from out on the main road, wich is almost a quarter mile away.

as for the harley's, i dont mind them so much because its not very common. its not like every 16-25 year old in the country has a harley they drive 7 days a week 365 days a year.

BWAHAHHAHHAHHA...........when a sound system is so loud that it wakes the dead, kills bugs and interrupts the sleep of normal people, something is wrong... Technology exists right now to disable the magnetic coils and digitial signals of high end stereo systems.....and yes...I will find a way use it, Bwahahahhahahhh (diabloical laugh). Call it a crusade, but ask hard working people that have to sleep, and you may find that most of us absolutely hate the thump and bang of acoustically challenged youth. It isnt even music, it isnt even entertainment, it is an invasion of privacy, sound systems of the caliber I have seen so far are weapons against society and must be stopped......yes thats it, a war....yes a war on itinerant youth and conspicuous consumers that violate the interests of hard working normal people....we must all unite and defeat this terrible sub culture of self indulgent, selfish and wasteful abusers . To hell with freedom of expression when it permeates the very fabric of our society....
I never ever did anything like this when I was a young man, humph!!
