ROFL @ DH only ISP

There is something seriously wrong with my network connection!
The funny thing is I can still visit DH but all other adresses fail

Not even msn messager will work, rage3d, microsft, google, msn, any of the sites i visit that can't be poisted here nothing work but DH!

Not even my siggy or my ISP's website!

This is bad but it strange that i can still acess DH...

my ISP sigal dropped form the useal -1 to -3, to -6! and i'm getting radeing t3 time out
and DHCP errors in my modem's logs

Time to change your ISP mike, you have been having problems of some sort for months now.

I rebooted eveything, even did a full software "reset" only my modem and finnally got things working right.

That is the killer the lines in here are old, so DSL would be a bad idea.
Dial up sucks so I stuck with cable. At times it does some screwy stuff.

I had troubles getting on DH a few hours ago and then for me to only
be able to access dh only later I found pretty funny....

They constantly have trouble near here they keep working on the lines
up on the polls out side. Since I right next to their office and their actual
"hub" which is a big station behind the building what ever you want to call

I've emailed their people about my signal issues and attached my modem
logs they never responded

About a month ago they where doing something and they wanted everyone
to leave their modems on. Which I assumed they were changing voltages /signals
my signal went from the usual -1 to -3! Earlier it was -4 and then dropped to -6

This is when the real trouble starts…

I could boost it with a booster here but I’ sure that’s pointless because I can’t
boost if from near the source.I laid new RG6 for the cable modem, because there is like RG58 in the wall (LOL old as heck)It’s only 15 feet from their box to my PC.

I think I'm stuck with it untill we move again...

have you tried different DNS servers? Drakon(I think) pointed me to some alternate DNS servers and our comcast problems disapeared overnight.

You might try it.
