Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec

Hey guys
I'm buying the equivalent model here in South Africa on Wednesday and I just want to know if anyone on the forum has one, as well as their thoughts regarding the car

I've had one for 4 months and it's a great little car! The only negative thing I can say is that the materials on the dashboard could be better!

Sweet! I can't wait to go and pick it up! I'm already thinking of getting a piggyback unichip and an induction kit for it as well!

be careful about adding much torque to it, is all I can say about low end fords....aside from that, they are great little machines.

ford festive and great little machines... thats not something i ever expected to see in the same sentence.

from what i know about them, there decent little cars. theyll get you form point A to point B... in time. not exactly the fastest things around, nor are they too eye appealing.

if this is your first car, id say its a good car to start with.

Well I've had all sizes of car and I suddenly realized that size isn't everything! It's aimed at younger people as its economical, cheap to insure and fun to drive! For a small car it's not bad looking either!

Had a Fiesta and a Festiva, not bad for a little car, has all the characteristic problems a little car does of course and they are demanding mechanically if you abuse them, but a bargain. My Fiesta had some mixture of german and english mechanicals and the Festiva was a pure Mazda clone, with a tiny by buzzy little engine, put almost 200 thousand miles on the tranny and engine before she need serious valve work, but that was to be expected. LOL
