It bemuses me how serious guys take these games (you reckon they might dress up at home and webcam with each other comparing costumes as well?), which is kind of why I dont really play online.... but hey each to their own !

oh sure.... i might have had notepad open most times when i started a new chracter for diablo 2 and ran a few numbers...

ok damn it, i figured out just about every stat of what my new chars would be before they were even built...

The clan has said that it was a setup. The video contains many jokes that people who play would know. Paladins don't actually need those shoulders for example. They also would know that their DP spell prevents them from moving and casting and wouldn't blame it on lag. The "32.33 ...repeating of course" part just seals the deal.

It's still super funny though.

If you have played WoW or any other MMORPG...you would know that that was set up just by watching it. A number of things give it away, but by and far the most obvious is the fact that they're all standing in a circle "talking". What's the point of standing in a circle while one member gestures in the middle? You can communicate no matter where the party members are.

The video gave me enough of an overview though to tell me I don't want to subscribe to WoW. The gameplay/layout looks alot like Guild Wars and I don't like the 3d pivoting perspective. The chaos on that screen just screams "lag fest" and point'n'click madness...

More or less. You usualy aren't swarmed with that many critters and you can turn their HP bars on and off so it's much, much less crowded than it seems.
