It ran consistantly (the framerate didn't drop to 15 fps when I was driving around the city), had a great controller, and it just plain worked. Graphically, it was inferior to what the PC version was capable of, but graphics aren't everything. If they were, Fantavision would be a kickass game.Based on my experiences with GTA3 on the PC, I would rather see Vice City stay on the PS2 than have its reputation tarnished by another poor PC port. It would seem that, for whatever reason, Rockstar agrees. You can whine and petition all you want, but I seriously doubt it will do a bit of good. - Me |

HEEEELLLLL YEAHH!!!!!! "PC gamers will be happy to know that a PC version of the massive PS2 hit Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is confirmed and is scheduled for release in the spring of 2003." I can't wait! So they finally came to their senses. To brc64: I agree with you that you do need quite a good PC in order for the game to be playable and fun and I sure hope that they don't f**k it up like they did with GTA3. One can only hope. |
