lol- I forgot about my bike. Nice one Iridium
First day in old apartment a few years ago.. best pic I could find on my PC (tried to enhance a little). Built this baby by hand, bought every single part. Put at least 6000 off-road miles on it. :-) Building and riding bikes was my main hobby before PC's...

Very cool BWX, that takes some skill and patience I am sure. I was a bicycle mechanic during my school daze, I know how much of a difference having a seatstay out of allignment can make...
Very cool!

Yeah- I did all the work on my friend's bikes, and was thinking about getting a job doing it, but never did. Very fun and rewarding though. Hardest part is building the wheels by hand- those %%#!* damn spokes!!

Wheel building in an artform in itself. It seems very few wrenches at shops know how to build them even more. I was lucky enough to get under the tutalage of a guy from the "Old School" so I got to learn how to build up some pretty slick wheels. *Notice the "Rolf" wheels on my ride* LOL!
I never had the money when I was working at the shop to buy the parts that I wanted. So I'm still using the good old Rolfs.

camaro's are sexy, i hope they make another with better displacement and compression. god american cars suck at that and their valve timings. thats why they aren't fuel efficient. but i will never pass up a HEMI powered car, i have all the respect in the world for HEMI's

doing a little more looking into it... it looks like the red one that says excelence reborn is the one that it will be. i also found that that it will most likely have an LS2 @ 400HP.

friend of mines dad has a new GTO. he says its fast, but i dont know much more then that.
although for him it should seem fast, hes got a 95 Accord. he drove a cobra once also but he cant drive a stick worth a damn, and the cobra was a 6 speed. as for the new chargers, they look ugly as hell. they look like a freakin dodge magnum.

![]() ![]() nicest Eclipse ever- http://www.velocityjrnl.com/jrnl/2006/vmd10268ml.html Not sure if it is AWD yet or not- or if it will be an option.. ever.. I liked the AWD ones.. edit-- Looks like only FWD :-( -the V6 is the fast one- Also I watched Car and Driver today on TV and when they tested the V6- they averaged 15MPG! damn- sucks a lot a gas.

damn. a V6 that only does 15MPG? i cant imagine theyll let that go to production with that kind of milage.
my damn corvette has a huge 5.4L 350ci V-8 that does like 10-13MPG and thats 36 years old too. speaking of the vette, its sitting in my drive way right now now i need to see about takeing care of some leaks, and putting the interior back in.

that's awesome .well, as for the pollution thing....maybe not for the world, but the states, followed closely by Dallas (i think) Texas (but i do know that it's Texas). About the new Eclipse.....i don't like that crossover hatch for the rear. I feel that the bar will get in the way when putting stuff in or out of the rear area. The car is also insanley heavy......3,500Lbs.! But it will be sporting out it's 3.8L v6 engine putting out 263HP and 260Lbs. of torque. http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/mits....8.Mitsubishi* |

I'm a huge fan of the new Mustangs, I love the 70's styling on it, looks real mean. Plus the starting price of about 19,000$ isn't half bad either.

i love the look of the new charger, but its screaming 2door only IMO. the 4 door isnt great. i like what dodge has done with the magnum and charger looks solid. the SRT-8 is mean, 425 horses outta the 6.0l not bad at all. i drove the magnum, for a large car like that i found it handle just like a european car to be honest. lots of power when you need it and controlled movement. also it was only the sxt model which was 250hp outta the 3.5l.
my friend took a picture with the new eclipse i cant find it right now. we were drunk at the autoshow so he got on the stage where it was being rotated during closing time no one stopped him and we got the picture. fucking hillarious. but they did go back to the older design. i heard this generation of eclipse will share platform with the dodge sx 2.0/neons in the near future. |
