when does this happen? right after you boot up your system, play a game, run some programs, etc.? Did you just recently build your system, or is it your current system and it just recently started doing these noises? Gotta give us more info on what's going on to help you out better.

Also post your system specs.

i got back from a bike ride and it started clicking...so I stopped my computer then went on a game...it restarted this time twice as much faster...I then restopped my computer and now im here and I didnt play a game yet...and its not making the clicking noise...I got closer to the nosie and it seemed louder near my video card...

Hmm it could be the fan on your video card, or your HD is getting ready to take a dump.

does it happen only when you play games? and is it a continuous clicking sound, or a continuous beeping noise? A grinding noise would mean that one of your fans is going out. Remember, different noises mean different things.

And you still haven't posted system specs.

Could be the cpu fan, since it only happens under load(?) the fan will speed up, and click louder. Maybe it's hittin some wires.

Check to see that none of the power or IDE/SATA/Floppy cables have lodged themselves near any of the fans (plus any tie offs for your cables too). Also, look to see if there are any loose screws in any of the fan casings.

Other than that, the only other thing that could make a clicking sound would be the hard drive. If the read heads weren't seated before you powered your system completely down (ie. unplugged it) then the head were floating over the platters while you were transporting it. If they were seated properly the read heads could get dislodged from their resting place, and cause some damage.

if it's one of the fans, then great. you can unplug your fans one by one until the noise has stopped, and will indicate which fan is causing the problem. If it's still doing the noise even after your fans have been unpluged, then it is something else.
