Hitman the Movie, Petition

Well, Hitman is becoming a movie, and seeing as Vin Diesel is the Exec. Producer he will be starring in it.

There are a few people on another forum that think this is a mistake and have started a petition (http://www.petitiononline.com/hitman47/petition.html) to get the starring role changed to Jason Statham.

Now even though I know this won't work, I think it's funny and have signed :P

So lets see those signatures roll in

I have, albeit a long time ago but, come on he can't play a cocky bastard his entire acting career.

Plus theres the fact that he can't pull off an american accent without sounding ( and looking ) like Silvester Stallone... "multiverse"

yes to both & vin would be better for this film & is a better actor imo. if vin was not doing it then statham would be my choice.

Yeah, and we all know (in day-to-day situations) how often we have to act our ways out of hats. But yeah, Vin Diesel is totally wrong for that character. He's too "brute-like" to play the smart, sleek and secretive Agent 47.

Looks wise Statham is MUCH more suitable for the role of 47. His acting isn't the greatest, but better than Diesel imo.

Bigger movies don't mean squat and the "better" part is debateable. Diesel's acting still sucks none the less...

there is a reason diesel is a bigger box office attraction. but looks wise daedal has a point as do you. as far as the acting goes i do not think statham sucks on any level but as far as your opinion of diesel goes,well, it is your opinion.

I think if you put Bruce Willis's mind into Jason Statham's body that you'd have the perfect hitman.

I dont know I think bruce would be perfect for it. with a bit of makeup and the right clothes he would look great as the hitman. he can also act which helps.

I've heard that if he lost weight he could pull it off, but I've never seen a pic myself.
