Father's Day (US)

For those of us living in the States, remember today is Father's Day.

i've had a great fathers day. Got a lawn mower from my wife and kids and got my dad a motorcycle battery charger (real nice one, wish i had it). Hope the rest of of you dads around here have had it as good as I have.

I'm not a dad yet, but I took mine out for lunch and a couple pints yesterday.

ah my fathers day,
well brothers, my daughter called to ask for money, she is pregnant and and on the street, kicked out of her mothers domicile and austrocized from any other family dwelling for her behaviour, because she is a drunk and a pothead. After three years in college she finally succumbed to the drunken and valueless lifestyle she enjoyed in the dormatories. After several attempts to rationalize with her, my ex wife and I decided to call the police on her and get her back into treatment. As of this morning, my son called to wish me happy fathers day, and last word is that my daughter has disappeared again, becoming a street urchin no doubt. I am thankful my son found relgion recently and decided to pull his head out of his ass, but my daughter dwells in her own....Marijuana and booze will be her unduing unless she can get help, but then....she is twenty years old and an adult......
today I counted my blessings and said a prayer for the drug addicted, the dying and the self destructive...
