I Got A Scholarship!!!

Ho man I thought I was gunna have to work my ass off and take a quarter off for tuition but I GOT A $5000 SCHOLARSHIP! I'm SO PSYCHED! I just got the call this morning from this company CTI and they're giving me an awesome scholarship useable at ANY COLLEGE I WANT!

ho man you guys have no idea how psyched I am.

Congrats man, you must have been really nervous that morning (if I understand you correctly

). It was idem dito to me four weeks ago with my examinations, and I passed! That was a REAL thing too to get psyched about. Have fun with the money, and make a good choice with it.

Cause remember: it doesn't matter how much money you earn per day, but in order to keep it 'liveable', you should pick a job that only fits YOU!

nope no spam. I seriously got a scholarship and I'm so freakin psyched.

and btw I dont get to make any choices with it. I send them the tuition bill and receipts for my books and they pay them off.

bah physics. I gave up on science. Its not my forte. Now Law...hehehe THAT is what I'm freakin good at. what do you mean what am I going to do?

I'm popping my app into the UW for transfer...and at Seattle U, and at U of chicago...annd a few other places that I'm TOTALLY not interested in. I'm gunna start SOMEWHERE winter quarter. As for my last quarter at the community college, I'm taking some online classes so i dont have to walk back into that building. That place was the pitts.

I'm starting to notice that. I've been able to hide away from money problems for many years until now. Now its painfully obvious how expensive college is.

just keep your GPA at the requirement so that you can get it again.. they are sticklers about gpa's. should be about 3.0 or better which is a b average

Need based grants are the way to go, your gpa can be like 2.5 and you keep those.

nice job man, i ended up getting $4000 from my school a year and a bunch if unsubsidized loans, but then again my school isnt very expensive since i live in the same state. costs only about $8k a year for me, so with room and book and book its prob close to $20k a year total expense, which is nothing compared to some schools. Yeah its sucks having to worry about paying for everything, but im sure it will all work out for you.
