Cool! Prize update

Just a quick word to let everyone know what's happened with my prize. In an earlier post I wrongly stated that I had an Asus A7V133 mobo, it is in fact an A7V333. Anyway, as I use the onboard sound, I decided to put the new XP2000 chip in my current mobo. This upgrade has enabled me to break the 10000 barrier in 3d Mark 2001 SE for the first time http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=4393472

I have decided to sell my mobo prize along with my old XP1700 to a good friend and fellow DH member bunnyboiler (touchingly named after his wife) for a very reasonable price. This means that there are now two very happy members instead of one.

That compare link is invalid. I tried formatting it properly but it still isn't valid. Congrats though!

System Specs

awsome

yes, great score... (I wish I could get my system that high)

http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=5378121

this is my score, you only have a gain of like 200mhz on me, (plus it says your running a 133FSB... im running 147 for testing, and 143 for stable)

How can I break that 10k?! this is "The" highest I have been able to push my poor little system.

i overclock my card to 270/530 ... (my card has the 4ns ram... so 530 is about it without crazy glitching)

does the new proc make that big -o- difference? (cuz all I have is a 1500+) is this my bottleneck?

hehe... nice score though! Im impressed...

I'm not sure I undrstand this, do I have something to be grafeful

for ? ...refresh my memory plz

Edited bits: I've had a think and I might have come up with one

or two things......

Is it because I help keep your system running sweet as a nut ?

Or maybe because I service your 'old' shed of a car

Or even because I have been known to do a spot of

decorating

On second thoughts when I think of you 3 new words spring to

mind......

1. Un ( not sure if this is a word on its own but never mind )

2. Grateful

3. T**t ( I didn't know you used language like that Mr

Kinetic )

Over to you ................

ps. check your spelling Mr Kinetic, I think you'll find that 'mi'

should be spelled like this...... 'my' ....and don't try to blame it

on a typing mistake cos ive seen the speed you type at, nobody

could make a mistake typing that slowly
