New guy to the forums

Hey everyone,

My name is Floppy got the nick given to me just of late from a friend I met at a bar, only last night in fact.... I'm Kinda new to the forums, in fact I’m new to the web, thought I’d cruise on by to say "Hi" with an opportunity to meet you all.

I heard about Driverheaven just of late from a bikie friend that lives over here in Ireland. I have to tell you all, life’s experiences sure do spiral down and in my case never up, hence the nick. The nick was given to me through frustration from a friend I met at the “blade club”, here is how I found out about Driverheaven. I must remember to refer to it as “DH” as I got my wrist slapped last night for referring to it as ‘Driverheaven”.

After a long night on the town I met up with my some of the guys from the "fireblade club". One of the guy's who seemed to follow me around like a litttle demon, rambling something that sounded like "DH ROCKS MAN", under his croaky smoke ridden filthy breath.

Anywaz as the night progressed this fella invited me back to his place, with a promise to show me his bike, not quiet understanding what this guys intentions were... I explained that it was late and I thought the whole situation was a litttle "bent". It seemed that when things didn't quiet go his way he got very mad, his pasty white skin turned to a reddish color, so in an effort to keep the peace, I headed back to take a look at his bike.

Once there, we scrambled through a collection of "Avril Lavinge" posters and fan club mail littered all over the floor, in fact his place looked like an Avril Lavinge shrine, I had to pause and take a deep breath to contemplate over the vast collection of hardware, in this case it was PC hardware, not like the other rooms in the house, which did cause alarm bells, and I'm talking masses of it. Everywhere I looked there were blue lights, green lights, orange lights pulsating in the dark, but the factor that caused me to freeze with absolute fear was the 500ml jar of vaseline sitting next to the mouse.

I asked my friend how he sourced such gear and with a smirk on his face, eyes sparking, he raised his eye brows whilst trying to impress me with a sexy grin...and whispered "Driverheaven" go check it out when we’re done. At this stage I had to make a very sharp exit.

So here I am, keen to meet you all, and perhaps meet many more bikies on the forums that might live in Ireland too.

Don’t get me wrong though I am no mechanic, and although I don't know how to fix a car, I certainly know a tool when I see one.

well welcome to the forum. I know that you and Sandok will make a lovely couple. I wonder why he was showing you his bike though. Does he perchance live with a guy named Allan? Allan is a big biker. He plays with his bike alittle too often in fact. Perhaps they both share Allan's bike? I suspect they share the avril stuff too.

In any case that guy Allan is the owner of this fine site.

Allan is a big biker, he has a real shinny bike. He wanted me to hop on and go for a "ride", not sure what that meant though - thats when I thought I was being taken "down the garden path"...

Be careful of his nice shiny bike. I'm somewhat concerned that there may be some rust and\or strange marks on the exaust pipe that may harm you.

Also be careful of the Avril music. That WILL harm your brain and the damage is irrepairable.

(BTW, I hope that 'friend' who gave you that nickname wasn't a 'lady friend'. I can't think of a worse name to be called by a lady friend.

i believe there are protective devices &/or weapons that can help in some of those situations. sometimes an 'insta-blowup doll' can help. just pull the ripcord, throw it at the possible offending party & make your exit post haste. i got this info from CDDB as he is getting rather fed up with this tactic & has been seeking large stickpins to counter it.

He is still getting over the flu, tried to call him on his cell phone but he isn't picking up. My guess is, he's passed out over the pan. Just hope he has pulled his head out the crappa before hand...

Might be a good idea to go over Geminibiatch and see if you can lend a hand. I hear he is crap at ironing, plenty of areas you could *cough* assist with.

insurance=crazy for sure. i was told that chevrolet made some corvettes with "backseats" so that it wasnt a true sportscar to keep insurance down for drivers...but that's just what i heard, ive never beeen in one and i wouldnt actually call it a backseat if i had. i have hard time fitting in front seat in a firebird i'd hate to immagine cramming myself into a smaller car
