Happy New Year!

It is now 1:50AM in Japan -- we are already two hours into the New Year. And since I am ahead of most people, I will let you all know what to expect from the new year! North Korea is still crazy and scary. Computers still work (Prepare for the pandemonium and chaos of Y10K though!)..... okay, so not much has changed yet. But at any rate, I wanted to wish you all a sincerely exhuberant and wonderful new year.

A few shout-outs go to those that made 2002 grand! If I miss you, it's not because you don't matter, it's because I am scatterbrained.

First of all, thanks to Zardon for being a great leader and friend. This site is what is it because of its members, but it is also grand because Z' has worked hard and made sacrifices to keep it runnin'. In case you guys didn't know VBulletin is not free software! O.o Anyway, thank Z' when you see him, because he is not only a great guy, but a fine admin.

Thanks to Renegade for bein' a pal and chatting with me, even when I am boring. As far as IMs go, he is one dependable guy, always willing to chat, and always willing to listen. A fine individual -- and also very adept at kicking my ass in UT2K3.

A shout-out goes to DigitalWanderer for being a liberal. No, really. On top of being a really fun, intelligent guy, he is also one with political views that conflict with my own. I've learned a lot by debating with this guy, and I hope to continue to for the year to come. Did I mention he's a great, likeable guy who somehow manages not to get pissed off by me?

Much thanks go to WyretheWife and WyretheWolf both for being fine friends and good chatmates. Sorry I haven't played Serious Sam with ya yet, Wolf! Promise to in '03! I hope to see both of you around more often!!

Reno also deserves recognition. Were it not for the various CPU FlameWars, I probably wouldn't have become a permanent member of DH! Though I agree with him on little, he is always engaging and intelligent and generally tolerable.

Necrosis, thanks for all the advice, the offers, and the interesting perspective you add to any discussion. You are an asset to this site, and I hope to see you around a lot more than you have been!

Well, my friends are calling, so I should close this up soon. I really hate to miss people --I know I've missed many-- so let me just thank all of DH for being so DHy and making DH the DH place that it is. 2002 was a lot of fun, and I hope this site continues to grow bigger and bigger as the year progresses. Thanks to everyone that's ever debated with me, told me something I didn't know, posted something interesting or funny. Thank you all! Thanks also to ever member of the staff. Thanks to the admins that keep this site running smoothly, and thanks to all the mods that keep the site clean and fun. You guys do a tremendous job and it is truly and sincerely an honor to work with all of you and be considered part of The Team. God bless you all and have a safe, but fun new year!!
