virus? Please help

Opening my mail yesterday, I opened one called test. There was no attachments and no reply address. So I figured o well. But later on that night I opened my systems folder and now there is a graghic that says XBain, and when you hit the button Suport information it opens and says: presented by R.O.S.T.I @ BrainX.
Has anybody seen this? I ran norton anti virus and can find anything. I tried system restore from the day before and its still there. Can anybody please help. I depend on my computer for video editing and cant afford to have it infected.

Is there any other activity you've noticed? extra tasks running? processor usage? internet connection in use? that sort of thing

Just did a search and nothing sinister came up. What makes you think it's a virus? Lesson 1, never open e-mail unless your sure of the source.
