the skyline is a legend, im just happy they are dropping the name. i dont get these soft gay names i.e. silvia, fairlady? wtf.

can't saying i like it at all. The rear looks hot, but the front....ewww, and the sides...can't say i dig those either. a G35 looks like twice the car as that thing.

the front lights will be changed a bit, all concept cars have wierd lights. the back is really good little touches are needed. they shouldnt hang so low.

the hood sucks, the front grill(all that black plastic shite) sucks even harder, the side "vents" look like they were lifted straight off a Hyundai Tiburon, the tail lights are far to reminiscent of the ferrari enzo/460, and the over all lines look like a 350Z was sodomized by an audi TT.

I'm terribly dissappointed. This car could suck a cab driver through immigration faster then you can blink....

...that's a lot of sucking going on

i like the front end of the car, but the rear end i don't. i don't like tail lights that sink in like those. and at first reading the thread, i thought that it was going to be about the G35.

IMO it looks like a re-done 350z

I wish they'd take the big red R off the front. ITs like they're giving a nod to Si-R modders (NEVER GIVE THEM CREDIT FOR ANYTHING! IT'LL GO TO THE RICERS' HEADS!) I mean its like saying "LOOKIE! THE R STICKER GIVES US AN EXTRA 30HP!!!!)

I liked the name skyline by the way. Infiniti is the same name EVERYONE uses. Nobody used Skyline before.

the big red R is copyrighted and is the skyline logo dude....

...lets take the S off of the turbo porsches too

and also, infiniti as in, the car company, nto the model name gemini....Nissan owns Infiniti...they are the same company...the G35 is the skyline chassis, and the 350Z uses about 30% the same sheet metal as the G35 coupe

Really though, whats under the hood is a beast of a straight 6, but for the dollars, it's nothing that can't be completely owned by a chevy...say...Z06? (which looks a hell of a lot better and comes in a convertibe

)

its not the engine that anyone cares about...its that you can become nearly a street racing god in a GT-R with barely any skill. It takes corners like nobodies business.

we can say the same thing about the legendary corvete C6R or C5R. I hate ricers, the names have nothing to do with it. nissan has girly names in japan though. gt-r sounds tough. if i had a sport trim level on a car, i'd call it XT-R

the .R in the corvette line up is there for a reason. that .R designates it as a full fledge race car.

lol i got you beat on that one.

saw some riced out POS in the parking lot awhile back. on his front fender was 350 for a chevy 350. his rear bumper had a huge V-Tec sticker, and his entire rear window was Type-R. i think it was on an old accord if i remember correctly.

you know, i thought the same thing about the vette when i first saw it, but i love the C6 now. besides, the first vettes had solid head lights.

not to mention the insane power and handleing it has. that 55K doller car blows some lower/medium end Ferrari's out of the water. that Z06 comeing out at 75K is on par with a Modena. and there fabled Blue Devil with a bare minimum of 600HP, god only know what the hell that things capable of doing.
