New sticky?

Hey, I was just wondering with all the ads lately if we could make a more prominent sticky in this forum that says ads are not allowed? (well, you know except for the joke commercials etc.)

yea I mean...they just want to bring us ipod nanos, $250 gift certificates, and handbags. What could be wrong with that?

jeez Allan you need to lighten up. Every time someone comes and tries to make a caring contribution to the site you go crazy on them and ban them. No wonder the community lives in fear under your tyranny!

It's about numbers... For every one that is really just trying to spread a good thing around, there are 10+ that are just out for there own gain alone, and are mischievous in the process - possibly even causing harm to people's computers with trojans, tracking cookies, etc... It's not worth taking a chance on and the time involved to check them out. Just keeping DH safe - therefore the rules.
