Just recently CDR-Zone.COM released a review of the
Plextor 16x DVD+R media. Users of Taiyo Yuden media did notice one thing - this was the non printable dye. Now I can show the results of the Taiyo Yuden 16x DVD+R printable media. Under the
Miflop Xtreme branding we have sourced this media so that our readers can have a great idea of just how good/bad the compatibility is with a series of popular DVD recording and playback devices compared to the non printable version.
We are really quite excited about this review as many readers will know just how well the Miflop Xtreme 8x+/-R range of media could record at speeds of 12x and above on most writers. Of course from the review of the Plextor version I found that slightly higher errors where found compared to what users would expect from a disc made by Taiyo Yuden although still very much within set specifications. Has that changed - are errors still higher than we would like to see from this mixture of Taiyo Yuden and MIflop or has the error rate decresed? Those are some of the questions I hope to find the answer to during the course of this review.
