Today HardwareLogic contiues our series of DDR1 2GB memory kits with a look at Mushkin's DDR500 (PC4000) Extreme Performance offering. Sporting timings of 3-4-3-8-1T at 2.8V, the Mushkin Extreme Performance DDR500 seems to be yet another in an ever growing list of high quality 2GB kits to hit the market.

Mushkin may not get the publicity of Corsair or OCZ, but they have developed a diehard and steadily growing fan base by releasing one high quality memory kit after another. Mushkin is also unique for a completely different reason, they are actually owned and operated by their employees, something you don't see every day, especially from a company this large.
