If you're anything like us, you've got a thing for flashing lights, alphanumeric displays and stats available by the second when you need them. While the display interface of these modules might not be as informative as that of the Expert series that we reviewed quite a few moons ago, the twin LED landing strips spanning across the tall XMS Pro modules are indeed more elegant. Granted, while neither series (Expert and Pro) is particularly new, with lineages stretching back to the Socket 478 era, the chips tucked away neatly under the silky black heat spreader certainly are.
