Former Bungie, Valve staff found new development studio

Four industry veterans who previously worked at Bungie, Valve and Zipper Interactive have joined together to establish a new studio, Giant Bite Games, which has now officially opened its doors.

The Seattle studio has been founded by Hamilton Chu, Michael Evans, Andy Glaister and Steve Theodore. Chu and Evans worked on Halo and Halo 2 whilst employed by Bungie, while Glaister was director of development at Microsoft Game Studios. Theodore, a former Valve employee, worked on hit titles Half Life and Counter-Strike. Most recently, he was the technical art manager at Zipper Interactive.

"We're proud of our work at Bungie, Microsoft and Zipper," Evans said.

"It was amazing to work with such fantastic teams on games that turned out so successfully. And now, we're excited to build something of our own."

Glaister added: "Giant Bite will keep the traditions of world class production values and cohesive game play. We see a great opportunity to build the sort of company that we always wanted to work for."
