DH Review: Noctua Coolers

"As you can see in the above charts the coolers from Noctua proved to be very good performers, the NH-U9 managed to keep up with the XP120 using a slow spinning 92mm fan while the XP 120 used the bigger (more powerful) 120mm fan. The NH-U12 was even more impressive, outperforming the XP 120 by 5° using the same fan is outstanding!"

Both the coolers are excellent performers, the NH-U12 actually made me ditch my watercooling (asetek kit). The difference in temps are negligable...

That's excellent news, I'll now be watching the company for when I go to upgrade ^_-

After reading several reviews, I decided the NH-U9 would work great for my needs.

I checked out the UK Quiet PC site: http://www.quietpc.com/us-en-usd/manufacturers/noctua

NH-U12 $59.30 NH-U9 $51.80

There is a US Quiet PC site also:
http://www.quietpcusa.com/

I e-mailed the US site today for some info. This is what I got back:

Hi Carl,

Thank you for contacting Quiet PC USA. Yes, we do have plans to carry the Noctua heatsinks here in the USA in the very near future, but I do not have a definite date yet. I do have a shipment leaving our Quiet PC UK warehouse and could special order one for you.

Please let me know if you wish to do this.

Best regards,
Steve

I e-mailed back for a US price, he said he wasn't sure but will probably be what is listed on the UK site.
I've decided to wait for it to show up on the US site and then think about it.
