New Adaware Version Available

Lavasoft has a blurb about their long-awaited new version of AdAware:

Today is the day! We completed the final touches on Ad-aware 6.0 and have begun the process of notifying our customers. Please keep an eye on your mail, as it should arrive within the next few days. With this we are launching the new web site! Vastly improved over our previous one, we hope that you will find it easier to use and will enjoy the interactive elements we have added to make your stay more enjoyable.

After seing some complaints about this product (some speculate this software contains spyware as well), I'll try it out in febuary, but I'll probably be sticking to good old "Spybot - Search and Destroy".

You can download it on KaZaA or another P2P app. I just did.

Don't know if you people know about www.filemirrors.com it's great for finding file mirrors, I use it to get game updates so I don't have to wait for file planet

I ugraded PestPatrol and ran it NO spyware detected. Then I ran the new Adaware V6 2 items found.

I like the new interface, ant the fact that there are a lot more options in this new release, I also use Bps Spyware remover and it seems to me that it does a better job than Adaware.
