Sapphire Radeon X1800 GTO Review @ GDHardware.com

Shortly after NVIDIA’s announcement and release of its 7600GT series graphics card, we see ATI all of a sudden pull together a card out of thin-air based on the X1800 family of GPUs which we were told would be going EOL (end of life) right after the X1900 series launched. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that NVIDIA’s release left ATI scrambling to fill a void in the $200 range with a card that would be able to hold its own so we now have the X1800 GTO, and so far it seems Sapphire is one of the few add-in board partners who’ve released retail offerings.
