Interesting, some other routers (BENQ ESG103) seem to have a pre-configured DNS server (that may be getting severely hammered by them).
My Sweex LB000021 / Edimax BR-6104K has a time server option, but no default, and since I don't care too much about it's accuracy, I use the lower grade server on my ISP (NTLWORLD, local UBR as time server) - there are plenty of UBR's on the network, but they have a history of being somewhat inaccurate - my PC is synced to their main server, as it resync's less often.
