MIAMI - April 21, 2006 - Alienware® -- the leading manufacturer of high-performance desktop, notebook, media center, server and professional systems -- is now featuring a highly advanced and diverse new range of NVIDIA® Quadro® FX graphics cards on MJ-12® desktop workstations, including the new Quadro FX 3500, FX 1500, FX 560, FX 550, and FX 350. MJ-12 workstations will also soon be available with the upcoming Quadro FX 5500.

The latest line of Quadro FX cards includes a broad array of additional graphics solutions, ranging from the extremely powerful FX 3500 with 256MB GDDR3 memory to the budget-friendly FX 350 with 128MB DDR2 memory. Alienware users can benefit from up to a 30% increase in performance over previous Quadro FX cards and take advantage of dual-GPU power through NVIDIA SLI™ technology.

Delivering industry-leading precision, the new Quadro FX cards are designed and certified for demanding CAD, DCC, and other leading professional applications. Meanwhile, the forthcoming FX 5500 will represent the first Quadro FX card to come loaded with a 1GB frame buffer, enabling enhanced performance for volume rendering and broadcast applications.

“MJ-12 workstations with Quadro graphics have repeatedly proven themselves as a comprehensive solution for everything from the most complex scientific visualization applications to more mainstream graphics projects,” said Mark Vena, Vice President of Marketing for Alienware. “One of the best aspects of this new range of Quadro FX cards is that they significantly elevate the graphics capabilities of Alienware workstation users on every level, from those just starting out to those who rely on the absolute latest graphics technology."
