Oblivion is the fourth entry in the Elder Scrolls series, and the successor to Morrowind. It's a 3D role-playing game in which characters don't advance by acquiring experience points; instead, scoring depends upon completing tasks and honing skills and abilities with ongoing training. The location is the Imperial province of Cyrodiil on the continent of Tamriel. The game includes up to 50 hours of primary story lines, independent characters that follow the course of a day's events, changes from daytime to night, and multiple landscapes; these all combine to create a realistic virtual world.

This is a very good review, in fact the screenshots showing the comparisson between GPU's are very useful. NIce find, thanks.

Good article, but they made a mistake when upgrading their video drivers. It's the beta 84.25 drivers that are optimized for Oblivion, not the 84.21 drivers. When I tried the 84.25 drivers my frame rate improved noticably.
