Report: Europe loses billions to mobile piracy

According to a report by industry analyst Frost and Sullivan, Europe is set to lose US$3.4 billion in revenue this year in the mobile phone and device market. This scary number is the result of copyright-infringing material, which the study claims makes up about 80 percent of the entertainment content found on the mobile devices. Conclusions drawn in the study point to the lack of a widespread and effective digital rights management (DRM) solution on the continent as the root cause of the problem.

There's one major flaw in those claims (it's in the article in a way): there's no way a person would get the same amount of content if it had to pay for it.
