Video Game Execs at E3 Push For More In-Game Advertising

It's no secret the cost to develop video games can reach into the millions of dollars to produce by the time the game reaches consumers. Graphics, soundtracks, licensing fees all add up fast, said executives at this week's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles.

Publishers will turn toward in-game advertising to support rising costs. Research firm Yankee Group estimates the market in 2010 will reach $732.5 million, up from $56.5 million in 2005.

I guess these poor guys just aren't making enough money. Plus the games suck...
